Friends of the MoG

Hello Adam,
I met some really great people last night at a green business networking event in Santa Monica that I think are worth while considerations for this project in terms of possible sources of sponsorship, development, and the board of directors.
I want to introduce you to them one at a time, and I want to know how you would like to go about that.
One is a guy named Michel Algazi who is a very successful entrepreneur and very well connected with William McDonough who is the co-writer of the book “Cradle to Cradle.” William McDonough is one of the world wide leaders, innovators, and thinkers of sustainable design from architecture to products. His book is like the bible of sustainable design for anything. It’s all about creating a world with no waste. I think he could also be a great collaborator for some of our interactive installations, as his background is in product development. He has a lot of connections and would be a very good board member consideration if he sees the value and chooses to get involved.
Another is a woman named Leigh who started a successful non-profit in Santa Monica called the “Virginia Avenue Project” using arts to help kids realize their potential. They started the “Green Gardens Tour” in Santa Monica and West LA showcasing new local sustainably designed residential gardens high lighting the science and serenity behind them.
Lastly, is a friend of mine who has a development background and is an expert in the entitlements process and is looking to get involved in a project with some up front sweat equity for a back end return on his time investment. He has a lot of connections that I think would be very, very helpful to us in terms strategizing how, and to whom we present the project to as we move forward through the entitlements process. He is also looking for greater and greater involvement it “green” development. His energy is perfect for this team and I trust him implicitly.
Let me know how you would like to proceed. None of these people know what the project is, but I have let them know that I have a fantastic project I would like to introduce them to provided that it makes sense from your perspective.
